Arabic is one of the official UN languages with over 460 million speakers worldwide. It has gained importance with heightened interest in the MENA region and its central location in the strategic, political and economic transformations worldwide. Learning the basics of the Arabic language and understanding Arab culture has become a necessity for journalists wishing to focus on this region.
Objectives:
- Providing participants with basic linguistic communication skills in Arabic.
- Creating and building basic capabilities in Arabic writing and composition.
- Identifying the features of Arab society to help trainees understand Mid-eastern culture.
