Workshop on Documentary Production Concludes at JMI

21 September 2015<br /> &nbsp;<br /> Jordan Media Institute held a workshop on short documentary production which is part of a package of training sessions on offer at JMI for the last quarter of the year.<br /> &nbsp;<br /> The trainer, renowned Jordanian Producer Director Adnan Ramahi was on hand to share his experience with the participants during the week-long workshop.<br /> &nbsp;<br /> The participants were introduced to the different kinds of documentaries as well as the pre-production and post-production elements of research, filming, script writing, editing as well as music and lighting and sound effects. They also produced a short documentary in which they applied the skills they had acquired.<br /> &nbsp;<br /> One participant said she was extremely impressed by the trainer, who resides in Germany, and had wide local and international experience which enriched the discussions and diversified their perspectives. For his part, Ramahi said he appreciated this opportunity to help the participants acquire new skills and explore their potential.<br /> &nbsp;<br /> JMI Dean Dr. Basim Tweissi said the workshop was one of a series of sessions until the end of the year focusing on television presenting, producing news bulletins and television programs, digital media applications as well as communication and media training for spokespersons and public relations staff. &nbsp;Some workshops are organized in cooperation with Aljazeera Media Training and Development Center.<br /> &nbsp;
