The Jordan Media Institute (JMI) is saddened by the news of the loss of one of its greatest supporters, Vartan Gregorian, President of Carnegie Corporation of New York and mourns alongside his Carnegie family and friends. His support was invaluable as it was given at the critical juncture where JMI’s Consultant, Columbia University David Klattel, was setting up its curriculum for the MA program. Mr. Gregorian also supported JMI’s partnership grant with PBS that helped develop JMI’s now well-grounded Media and Information Literacy program. Mr. Gregorian’s memory will always be part of JMI and he will be sorely missed.
