Jordan Media Institute students presented their graduation projects during 4-5 August for the 2014-2015 academic year. The presentations by 22 students of the Journalism and New Media Master’s Degree Comprehensive Track Program included highly professional television documentaries about refugees in Jordan and alternative music in Palestine.<br />
<br />
Other print media presentations addressed issues of public transport in Zarqa, tourism, education, environment, sport and media. While other students chose to tackle the Muslim Brotherhood crisis in Jordan, the state of religion and the future of Salafi Jihadism in the kingdom. <br />
<br />
The students’ projects were presented to a panel of judges comprising JMI faculty members and specialists, and were part of the Capstone Project which helps the students apply the knowledge and skills they gained during the program.<br />
<br />
This month is a critical time for the students as they will be going through the concluding steps before their graduation with the finals next week and then the comprehensive exams at the end of the month.</div>
