Jordan Media Institute (JMI) held four days of radio training for the Master’s students on 24 January 2016. The workshop, entitled Storytelling with Sounds/Radio, was held in cooperation with the Norwegian Institute of Journalism (IJ). <br />
<br />
The focus of the training was on radio storytelling skills and ways to be creative and professional in order to attract the attention of the listeners. <br />
Frode Rekve, an advisor to IJ, with over 40 years of experience in radio, supervised the workshop which was led by international award-winning radio expert Berit Hedemann from the national Norwegian radio (NRK).<br />

JMI and the Norwegian institute have cooperated for the past four years during which several workshops were held for the students and two conferences were organized on the role of radio in development and democracy in February 2014 and Radio and Television Broadcasting: Policies, Transformations, Challenges in May 2015.
