Princess Rym joins JMI Students for Breakfast

13 April 2016<br /> &nbsp;<br /> Her Royal Highness Princess Rym Ali had breakfast with the students at Jordan Media Institute (JMI) and shared her views as a journalist, urging them to uphold professional standards and ethics in their work. She also stressed JMI&rsquo;s commitment to provide its students and journalists in general with the skills they need to serve their profession and communities. &nbsp;&nbsp;<br /> &nbsp;<br /> During the discussion Princess Rym, founder of JMI, also spoke about the challenges facing journalists and the need for them to be vigilant and ready to inform the public. She said the physical and psychological stress was enormous, especially for journalists working in war zones. Her Highness, who was also an internationally renowned journalist, urged students to always be well informed and to go after the story with courage while maintaining their objectivity and upholding standards and ethics.<br /> &nbsp;<br /> The meeting came as the institute prepared to receive applications for the eighth batch of students interested in JMI&rsquo;s Journalism and New Media Master&rsquo;s program. The deadline to apply is on 3 July 2016. JMI is expected to provide up to 35 partial and complete scholarships.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;
